The group is David Qualls, Jim Hetrick, George Brais, and Brett DeBoer. As [re]veer, they are motivated to create a combination of visual art and music. This has led to exploring the concept of musical and visual conversations and what that might look and sound like. Their compositions leave plenty of room for in-the-moment improvisation within an established structure. The creation of both audio and video follow similar processes of initial free-form experimentation that reveals a more defined purpose. Together, the goal is a visual and musical storytelling experience that inspires self-reflection and provokes conversation. Other than that, it's challenging to describe exactly what kind of music they play. It has underlying connections to Acid Jazz, Fusion and Prog Rock but doesn't neatly fit in any single musical genre. They continue to explore the possibilities.
